12:33pm

I’m riding in a Matatu with 14 other people.
Shacks next to brick hotels
Beautiful houses on the mountain side in the the distance.
Some buildings have nice paint jobs
Advertisments for paint, Coke, Pepsi and a whole building painted with the Nesquick logo and rabbit.
Women work in their gardens by the road.
Everyone has cell phones
We pass gas stations, some with automatic car washes
Kids run and do cartwheels
A young boy casually peels some fruit with a large knife as he trots along the path
It is about to rain

We went to the airport fater breakfast (scrambled eggs with toast) to tell them the village they could send my bag to and IT WAS THERE!! I was so happy. It was wrapped in plastic still and everything.. now we are going to Kampala.

Heavenly Father answered my prayer for my bag. Kellie says her and Jeff prayed about it last night too. So great.

I just had a great meal of Uganda food and now we are making our way to the village. Hopefully I’ll be able to update next week.. with pictures too.

I didn't even know that I was registered to comment on here already. So hi Adam! As I was unpacking I just read through a lot of the journal I kept while in Europe. I hardly recognize the writing as myself. Thanks for being there for me during that time! I needed it so much. I hope Africa is awesome. oxen.
